A customized summer skirt

These days I ‘ve been resorting to casual shorts. In an attempt to break out of my “shorts cycle”, I paired a favorite cropped top with a white linen skirt and a statement necklace. I’ve had that linen skirt sitting in my closet for a while now. Never felt like wearing it because something didn’t feel right about it. As time went by, it became more and more outdated. So it had to go under my sewing machine to turn it into a high waisted skirt and become my new favorite piece to wear on a hot summer day 🙂
