Hi everyone,
If you watched my latest Youtube video or follow me on Instagram, you know by now about two of my recent Mansur Gavriel purchases from Net-A-Porter.
I think it is safe to say that I am absolutely in love with the designs and the craftsmanship of Mansur Gavriel bags. I ordered a bucket bag and a tote, both in black with red interior, with the intention of sending one back and have now decided to keep the bucket bag. However, before returning the beautiful tote, I wanted to show you how this bag in size large looks like on someone with a height of almost 170 cm (5 ft 6 in).

Oh no!!!! you returned the tote… Hmmm. I came from your youtube channel and wanted to tell you that the red/black tote looks so good on you!! I can share your excitement of receiving the bucket bag! Mansur Gavriel really brought the bucket bag in trend again, and the extreme simple design with black and red is just stunning!!! I recently received mine from Barney’s and it was a saffiano leather instead of MG’s typical vegetable tanned leather, which to me is a bonus, since I am very careless with bags and clothes. I have been waiting for a long time since the pre-order and I was just as excited as you were for the bag!!! Anyway, you have a awesome blog and thank you so much for sharing your fashion style!

I still so in love with my bucket bag and take it almost everyday to work. I love Saffiano. It is beautiful and durable too. Great choice!
You are right MG designs are just super simple and this is what makes them special. I liked that tote too but what I really regret having sent back is the white backet bag (have a youtube video on that one too).

Hey Mahshid! I went to see that video of the white bucket bag. It’s truly unfortunate that you sent it back since in my humble opinion, the white color suits your style perfectly. (I kinda have a feeling you wear black grey white a lot.) but I also share your concern about the stitching and especially the color transfer. I think if they are not this popular, you might be able to exchange it due to the bad stitching, but … Never mind, it’s Mansur Gavriel… They won’t have stock for exchange I think, at least not immediately. The good news is, they are going to start selling online again this month and there is one type of material call ‘calf coated’ should be more resist to the color transfer compared to the original vegetable tanned leather. I read a review on the light pink one and the author says she takes the bag to work, to gym, to everywhere and the color is still original. Maybe you can think about that option? I know I sound like promoting the brand. :p please share your thought if you decide to get the white one. Wish you a nice sunday!
