An Early Bird on the Streets of Chicago – Millennium Park

posted in: Chicago, Travels, USA | 2

Hi everyone,

The best way to take in Chicago’s attractions (and most other busy places for that matter) is to be out early in the morning before the tourist crowds arrive. You’ll not only get the city to yourself but also soft and warm light for taking nice pictures.

With the Millennium Park on top of our list we hit the streets of Chicago at around 6:30am.

Millennium Park OutfitIt was a cold morning so I opted for a rather warm and comfortable outfit.

Sunglasses: Zara
Top: H&M
Trousers: Zara
Trainers: Reebok (last year)

After a few jumps it wasn’t that cold any more ;).

There is something magical about early morning hours that makes me happy. Even at home in Vienna I love to get up early and go for a bike ride or run when most of the city is still sleeping.

So, do you also believe in the saying “the early bird catches the worm” or rather “the early worm will be eaten by the first bird” as the Iranian comedian Niavarani puts it 😉 ??

Thank you for reading,

Mahshid

  1. I love that jump shot! It looks as if you’re a reflection in the ball. Who takes your photos? =)

    • Oh, Thank you!!! Sometimes my husband sometimes by myself (by using tripod and a remote control). The jump was taken by my lovely husband.<3
